what is hugg?

what is hugg?

Hugg Magazine is an independently printed, analog art magazine based in San Francisco, California.

Each issue is uniquely themed, fostering a creative framework that challenges our artists to push their boundaries and explore new art mediums. Every project published in Hugg is a collaborative effort: at least two artists are working together on most projects. We believe in the power of community—both the one you build and the one you explore.

Hugg Magazine wants to encourage you to create those creative connections.

Hugg Productions is an online production company that showcases visual and auditory arts through connection and travel.

"It's Been Done" is a light-hearted journalism show in which our lead writer, Oliver Michelsen, and editor-in-chief, Marcela Avramescu, explore hidden part of San Francisco and the rest of the world.

"Co-Workers" by Olivia Castillo is a comedy drama focused on two, strong female leads navigating adventures in their social lifes, careers, and romance through SOMA and the rest of San Francisco.

These shows are set to launch in March 2O27.
